We aim to provide a flavour of the Middle East with exciting, glamorous and dynamic performances in the exotic art form of belly dance.

With some of the most fabulous dancers in the country and a range of diverse styles, our dancers are all hand picked and highly trained to provide a full repertoire of performances. Taste of Cairo was created to bring you the best in Egyptian, Turkish, Arabic, Iraqi and Greek style traditional belly dance; from the glamour of Egyptian Cabaret, to authentic Folk dance, there is always an emphasis on fun and audience participation.

We can also supply more distinctive styles; electrifying Tribal Dancers, cutting edge Snake Dancers and the whirlwind that is Moroccan folk dance.

Live musicians can also be provided, from a single tabla player to accompany the dancer or give a workshop, through to a full Egyptian or Moroccan band. We can also supply a full Arabic Disco with PA system.

Taste Of Cairo 

Taste of Cairo’s name comes from the first and largest Middle Eastern Night staged in the UK. This seminal event
featured live music, singers and dancers and inspired Tracey Gibbs, the originator & driving force behind the Taste of Cairo event, to set up her own dance agency.

Since the start way back in 1999, Taste of Cairo has become synonymous with exceptional dancing, an enduring love of Egyptian dance and professionalism. This formula has ensured repeat custom from regular clients as well as attracting new ones.

The Dancers

Tracey’s 15 years experience of performing, from restaurants to high profile government parties, have given her a wealth of expertise in knowing what clients need and want from a dancer.

With this in mind, all Taste of Cairo dancers are hand picked by Tracey not only for their fabulous technique but also their stage persona and professionalism.

In addition, all dancers are advised by Tracey on costuming and presentation; an attention to detail which has led to the agency representing some of the countries most beautiful and talented dancers.
